Topology Manager cannot upload changes performed with 'Control Expert Classic' on a 'Control Expert' application
This works as designed. Any changes to the Control Expert application within the running PLC must be performed using the tools available through the Topology Manager.
There are 2 types of application.
The Control Expert application is created and managed using the Topology Manager.
The 'Control Expert Classic' application is created and managed using 'Control Expert Classic' (i.e., Control Expert version 15.0, SP1 or lesser, Unity).
Any changes made with 'Control Expert Classic' to a running application that was created with 'Control Expert' cannot be uploaded with Topology manager.
