Is a primer needed before applying the PK49SP touch-up paint?

Is a primer needed before applying the PK49SP touch-up paint? And if so can Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer work?

Resolution:
We do not have a specific norm for painting in the field, in case of paint damage, we can supply touch-up paint can.

For best results: Clean the surface, apply a primer (no specific primer is required), and follow with touch-up paint.

Paint the box with great care to avoid spatter on the plating of the bus bar and other electrical parts.
