Yes, OFS Server can communicate to an M580 PLC via the USB port. To configure the OFS server to communicate to the M580 via USB, launch the OFS configuration tool. Then create an alias by selecting "File" then "New Device Alias". Next click on the ellipsis for Device address 1 to add the USB driver. Select M580 for the Device type and add the symbol table file. Save the configuration.
Select USB driver from the list and then select OK.
