M580 Hot Standby power supply mismatch
Issue
If my Hot Standby system is running a single power supply in each rack and one of the power supplies fails, can a different model replace the failed power supply without impacting the configuration?

Yes, you can use a different model.
Scenario; Rack A and Rack B each have BMXCPS2010 power supplies and one of them fails. You only have a BMXCPS3020 in stock.
You can simply replace the failed 2010 with the 3020, power up and it will come up in Standby. You do not need to change anything in the program. You can run with the 2010 in one backplane and the 3020 in the other.
The Power Supply Model is not taken into consideration for the Hot Standby configuration.
