HMI P6 : How to solve the virtual disk service error after a write filter usage ?
The goal of this FaQ is to explain how to solve the 'virtual disk' service error after a write filter usage.
This issue can occur after a volume modification (like Shrink a new system volume).
The device impacted is the Harmony P6 IPC Box.
Procedure steps
- Open the Windows task manager.
- Reach the ‘services’ tab
- Click on ‘Open Services’ tab
- Open ‘Properties’ of ‘Optimize drives’
- Change ‘Startup type’ from disable to ‘Automatic (Delayed Start)’
Shrink/Extend feature will work when you have finished the above processes.
