How do I reset the NS-S3-1NRT (S-TAP) Sercos network switch to factory settings?

Resetting the NS-S3-1NRT (S-TAP) Sercos network switch to factory settings.

Resolution:
To set the network switch back to factory setting follow the instruction below:

1. Disconnect power supply from the netSWITCH SERCOS III device.
2. Push the switch to position RES (downwards) and hold it in this position.
3. Connect the 24-V power supply to the device.
4. Hold the switch for 3 seconds until the SYS LED changes to static green.
Note: The device indicates 'Reset to Factory Settings' by a flashing green SYS LED.
