What is the ratio of the 9070 Industrial Control Transformers

Answer: The 9070 Industrial Control Transformers are purposely built with what is known as Compensation. This means that they will deliver the full rated voltage output voltage even when fully loaded to their maximum allowable Secondary amperage. This also means that the Secondary voltage when the unit is unloaded will skew quite high. Compensation does reduce the winding ratio which will differ from the mathematically derived voltage ratio of simple 2:1 or 4:1. 240:120 or 480:120.
