How do I upgrade the firmware of the BMENUA0100 OPCUA server module?
Issue:
Firmware upgrade of the BMENUA0100 OPCUA server module
Product Line:
BMENUA0100, EcoStruxure Automation Device Maintenance
Resolution:
First log into the module via the web pages and go to the cyber security setup tab then select access control
Create an account and select the appropriate roles for the user, "installer" necessary
Apply the changes
Launch the Automation Device Maintenance utility and select settings then package settings. The package location is where you copy the firmware file to
The firmware should be available in the list under the data package
Next, select Device/Loading tab and select Add
Set the connection to HTTP/HTTPS and enter the IP address of the BMENUA0100 module then select ok
Device should appear in the device list, make sure the data package reflect the firmware version you are upgrading to. Then select "Device Login" icon and enter the user credential of the module and select "connect"
The device login icon should turn green indicating a valid login. Next select the "Update Firmware" button at the bottom
