Why does EADM report that the M580 Upgrade failed when connected via Ethernet?

When the 4.10 firmware is applied to the M580 CPU, first the 3.99 intermediate firmware must be applied.

Applying the 3.99 firmware will set the PLC back to the default MAC-based IP address. This will cause EADM or Unity Loader to appear to fail because the connection will time out due to the changed IP.

In addition, once the v4.10 firmware is loaded with the EADM tool, the same connection time-out condition failure will happen again because the IP will change back to what was loaded in the Control Expert project.

This issue does not occur when using USB connection.
