No, TeSys island modules cannot be used for DC application, at least not in any scenario where they need to measure current or act as overload protection relays. The current sensors measure dI/dt (changing current) and integrate that, to find RMS current and a DC load has 0 dI/dt. This will not function in case of DC load, So it is not allowed to use in DC application
