What causes the SoMove error “Error while executing service ‘CheckPhysicalReference’ with arguments”?
Resolution:
This error in SoMove typically appears when the software cannot establish communication with the drive using a TCSMC cable or Ethernet connection.
In many cases, this indicates a failure in the drive’s Main Control Board (MCB), which may need to be replaced.
Recommended actions:
- Verify the connection (cable and Ethernet settings)
- Confirm the drive is powered and properly configured
- If the issue persists, replace the Main Control Board
MCB Part Numbers:
- ATV630 / ATV660: VX4B600100
- ATV930: VX4B900100
Important:
In the United States and Canada, Schneider Electric recommends that the MCB replacement be performed by Field Services or authorized personnel, as specialized software may be required to ensure proper compatibility and operation. Unauthorized replacement may not work correctly.
