Are the lugs and power distribution connector (PDC) on PowerPacT circuit breaker lugs approved for use with a sleeve / ferrule / thin copper shim stock?

Resolution:
No, mechanical lugs and power distribution connectors (PDC) are not approved for use with a sleeve / ferrule / thin copper shim stock. This applies to PowerpacT B, H, J, L, M, P and R frame breakers.
A sleeve / ferrule / thin copper shim can break when being compressed and strands of wire can get caught up in the wire binding screw causing a false torque reading resulting in a loose connection.
