EcoStruxure Process Expert[2023]: Unable to configure the M580 controller after migration?

This knowledge base explains the user about the steps to overcome the issue which he may face when he tries to configure the M580 controller in Ecostruxure Process Expert 2023 version.

After the migration from previous versions to Ecostruxure Process Expert 2023,user tries to configure the M580 controller from topology explorer. If the configuration has BMxNOCxx module, he faces the below issue.

Even though the error screen shot shows user that more than one NTP server is enabled however, none is configured as NTP server.

User has to follow the below workaround to overcome the issue. The same has been mentioned in EPE 2023 release notes as well.

In the services tab of the controller properties, click on the enabled checkbox and change the NTP state from NTP client to NTP server, as shown below :
