What are the UL requirements for marking a circuit breaker as rated as100% rated?

Per UL, circuit breakers having a frame size of 250A or greater which are rated for continuous application at 100% of their rating must be marked as "Suitable for continuous application at 100% of rating," along with any other conditions that apply, such as cable and enclosure requirements. The marking may be on the front of the breaker or on the side. All Schneider Electric Masterpact NT, NW, and MTZ breakers are 100% rated.

Powerpact electronic-trip breakers will indicate 100% rating by a "C" before the trip unit designation in the catalog number, plus marking on a label as indicated above. The catalog number indication will appear as CUXXX where XXX indicates the specific trip unit, such as CU64A or CU33X. Sample catalog number for reference: JGL36250CU33X.

H and J frame thermal-magnetic breakers with 100% rating will have a C after the current rating indicator in the catalog number, ex. JGL36225C.
