Can 9999SX* Auxiliary contacts be mounted in Tandem?

Issue:
Need to know if the auxiliary contacts in NEMA contactors /Starters can be stacked.

Product line:
Digest Catalog 16: NEMA and Definite Purpose Contactors and Starters

Environment:
Type S Contactors and Starters 8502/8536

Resolution:
Yes, it is possible to stack or tandem mount the auxiliary contacts.
This applies for contactors 00-7

Auxiliary contacts must be mounted in tandem when using a fourth auxiliary contact on a Size 3 or 4 non-reversing device, or when using more than two additional contacts on reversing or multispeed devices. 1) Mount the two auxiliary contacts in tandem, 2) then mount the inside auxiliary contact next to the contactor, directly on the contactor baseplate.

auxiliary contacts

NOTE 1: Use a common mounting bracket for the two inside auxiliary contacts that engage the contact carrier of the starter. Each outside auxiliary contact is held to the inside auxiliary contact by a no. 6-32 x 1 inch screw with a no. 6 star lock washer and no. 6-32 hex nut (item 1 not included with individual auxiliary contact kits). The operating levers of the two outside auxiliary contacts engage the operating levers of the two inside auxiliary contacts.

NOTE 2: Do not mount an SX10 or SX17 contact in tandem with any Type SX contact
