What is the difference between using an LH versus Powerpact L-frame main breaker in a panelboard? Are they interchangeable?

Cause:

Existing NQ panel with a main breaker that has a cat# on it LHF36000M8076. Need to verify if it can be replaced with NQMB6PPL main breaker kit and LGL36400U31X main breaker.

Resolution:

The LH and the LGs are different breaker frames so they use different main breaker adapter kit. In addition, the LH breaker utilizes a 400A interior and a 5.75" deep box. The LG breaker utilizes a special 600A interior and an 8.75" deep box. The LG can't be installed into an LH interior. And lugs are not used to connect the PowerPact L breaker to the 600A interior. It is hard bus connected.
