Do the Square D General Duty, Heavy Duty or Double Throw Safety Switches have HACR(or HVAC) ratings?

HACR (or HVAC) Ratings

Resolution:

The Square D General Duty, Heavy Duty or Double Throw Safety Switches do not obtain any type of HACR(or HVAC) ratings. The switches are tested and listed per UL98 and NEMA KS1 standards. The switches are only rated for their maximum voltage, amperage, Horse Power(HP) and enclosure ratings. Depending on if the switch is Fusible or Non-Fusible, they would have Short Circuit Current Ratings(SCCR)

NOTE: Safety Switches can be used for HACR(or HVAC) applications, as long as they meet the switches ratings mentioned above for each switch.
