Smart-UPS Ultra 5kW Output Turns Off When Transferring to Battery Operation

Issue: The output of Smart-UPS Ultra 5kW UPS models may turn off during low or high input voltage conditions when the UPS is transferring to battery operation.

Product Line: SRTL5KRM2UI, SRTL5KRM2UT

Cause: If an input over- or under-voltage occurs while the UPS is transferring to battery operation mode, the UPS output may turn off in certain conditions.

Resolution: The latest firmware version improves the ability of the UPS to handle input events while the UPS is transferring to battery operation. Refer to FA170679 or FAQ000242942 to update the UPS firmware.
