Can the Square D QED-2/Speed-D switchboard be wall-mounted instead of floor mounted?

Cause:

Customer would like to have their Square D QED-2/Speed-D switchboard Wall Mount not Floor Mount.

Resolution:

No. Every switchboard to be ANSI/NEMA compliant must be floor mounted. It must be screwed to the floor. It also needs a minimum space of 13mm 1/2 in between the wall and the back of the QED for adequate ventilation. Please consult clearances required for installation of a QED Switchboard on FA281846.
