Cause:

Customer wants to know if the capacitive voltage divider in their switchgear can work as a coupling device for the PLCC technology as the Capacitive Voltage Transformer's principles.

Resolution:

The capacitance value of each section is between 30 to 35 pF. However, VPIS (Voltage Presence Indicating Systems for MV Switchgear) is not validated with PLCC, it has never been tested.
