Is Floating License Manager Still Needed For Recent Versions of PME?
Issue:
Flexera is a program used in conjunction with the Floating License Manager and License Manager. PME versions starting with 2021 use the License Configuration Tool as its licensing platform. After upgrading from an earlier version of PME, Floating License manager is still running.

Event Notification Module
Cause:
In place upgrades do not delete Floating License Manager as earlier versions of the Event Notification Module (ENM 8.3.4 and earlier) require them to run.
Resolution:
The Event Notification Module is now included in Power Monitoring Expert 2024. After PME 2021, the Event Notification Module has been integrated into the PME Web Applications. If the version of the Event Notification Module is 8.3.4, Floating License Manager and License Manager are still needed.
Otherwise, the services can be stopped.
