Product features clarification

Resolution:

The bottom of a transformer is open when mounted in the ceiling to allow proper evacuation of the heated air from the core/coil.

Transformers rated 225KVA and above in the J-style enclosures are switchboard construction, which means open bottoms. There will not be any bottom plates or covers.

SquareD/Schneider Electric does not offer any type of bottom plates or covers as accessory components.
