Operating Modes explanation for application types on the Temperature Controller Hygrotherm

Product Line:
Thermal Management Systems/  ClimaSys

Environment:
ClimaSys CC Temperature Controller

Cause:
How to configure the controller behavior according to the operating mode selected/programmed on the hygrotherm

Resolution:

The setting determines the relays that operate and their behavior. To select the required operating mode, press or when M1 is displayed on the screen. Following a mode change, the settings go back to the values entered in the factory:

Operating mode explanation

Co - The relay engages when the temperature rises above the setting and disengages when it drops below the setting less hysteresis.
C = 20 ºC D = 2 ºK Z 20.0 ºC = On / 18 = Off

HF - The relay engages when the temperature is low or the humidity is high, depending on the reading by the internal probes.
E.g. C = 20 ºC (D Te = 2 ºK) + C = 60 % (D % = 3 %) Z 20.0 ºC = Off / 17.9 = On    Z 60 % = On / 56.9 % = Off

Hd - The relay engages the resistor when it detects that the dew point is close and is disengaged when it reaches a Hysteresis zone or a maximum temperature. The probe must be placed at the location in the cabinet that is most likely to generate condensation and the probe jacket must be in contact with the metal part of the cabinet. Remove the plastic housing as indicated in the instructions for use of the probe.

HA - The relay engages when it detects the presence of condensation or if the temperature is too high. A fan, alarm, etc. may be connected.

HC - Compares the interior and exterior temperature to energize the relay if the outside temperature can be used to heat or cool the inside of the cabinet, providing the exterior temperature is outside the neutral zone.
