M580 and WRITE_PARM with EHC modules
Question: Can module parameters such as Modulo be programmatically changed when using high speed counter modules?
Answer: No, this is a limitation when the counter modules are mapped as Device DDT using Control Expert.
With the M580 incorporating Device DDT mapping, the adjustment parameters cannot be changed from the PLC application during operation (no support of READ_PARAM, WRITE_PARAM, SAVE_PARAM, RESTORE_PARAM) for:
- counter modules in a Quantum EIO drop
- counter modules in a M580 RIO drop
