How to find the serial number on Breakers (ACB and MCCB)?

Schneider Electric Customer Care team may ask customers to provide Serial Number when asking for support, specially ranges such as ACB and MCCB Breakers like: Masterpact, Evolis, Easypact, and ComPacT NS (>630A).

As general rule,  the serial number is typically found on the front face of a circuit breaker, accessible through a (1) QRCode or in the (2) control unit, or on (3) the name plate.

When the QR code is scanned with a smartphone (connected to Internet), a page will display data such as Commercial reference, type, description, and the corresponding serial number (see figure B below).

Notice that there is a difference between a QRCode and Data Matrix:

Data matrix vs qrcode

Do not scan Data matrix codes but only QRCodes printed on the front face. Other QRCodes in the back, or side are for Schneider internal traceability purposes.

Safety note: Do not manipulate or touch back side of energized breakers.
