The APC by Schneider Electric has released last Jan. 20, 2025 its new Dry Contact I/O card (AP9614). Below are the steps on how to connect on the AP9614 Dry Contact I/O card :
Note: Although the manual states that the AP9614 Dip Switch must be set to Config 4, the web will still be accessible even if set to other Dip Switch Configuration. Refer to FAQ000273842.
1. Connect to the AP9614 Dry Contact I/O card by using supplied USB cable and a computer that is capable of NDIS eg. Windows 10 or higher, Linux. Note: Max of 15ft distance is tested.
2. Once connected, kindly confirm if the "Remote NDIS Compatible Device" under Network Adapters is showing. If not, you may want to consider checking a missing driver on your computer, wrong USB cable used or contacting your vendor.
2. Use a web browser to access the http://169.254.111.222 (NOTE:- https is not supported).
3. Login to the card with the default user name and password (apc/apc).
4. Change the password when prompted at the first login.
5. Access the card and enter apc in the user name box and the new password that you had configured.
6. You may now continue to set configuration if Dip Switch is set to Configuration 4.
