Is APC Back-UPS Supported by PowerChute Serial Shutdown on Linux?

Issue:
Users need to know whether APC Back-UPS models are supported by PowerChute Serial Shutdown when used with Linux systems.

Product Line:
PowerChute Serial Shutdown
All Back-UPS and Back-UPS Pro models
All Serial Numbers

Environment:
Linux operating systems connected to APC Back-UPS via USB.

Resolution:
PowerChute Serial Shutdown does not support APC Back-UPS models on Linux.
Only Smart-UPS and Easy UPS Online models are compatible with Linux operating systems. Back-UPS units are compatible with Windows operating systems but not supported in Linux environments.
