ETE - FAQ - Logger: How does sensor communicate with the dashboard?

The sensor is communicating via local 3G/4G network and comes with fully provisioned telecommunications functions requiring no configuration effort at installation time. The communication costs are already included in the price. The 3G/4G communications are fault-tolerant to cope with situations where coverage is poor or inconsistent i.e. It continues to periodically try to connect if a session is unsuccessful.  The logger stores all data onboard until it has successfully uploaded and has the capacity to store multiple years of data in memory.

Good 3G/4G signal strength is vital for successful communication purposes. If 3G/4G signals are not available at site, we can talk to you about alternative options.

Please refer to the attached list for local network used by the sensor in your respective country.
