Correct Wiring for External CT with LTMR Devices

Title:

Correct Wiring for External CT with LTMR Devices

Issue:

How should the external current transformer (CT) be wired to the LTMR device?

Product Line:

LTMR (Motor Protection and Control Devices)

Environment:

LTMR device with external CT connection (CT terminals labeled S1/S2)

Resolution:

Your CT must have two terminals (S1 and S2). The wiring should be as follows:

  • The wire must leave S1, pass through the internal CT of the LTMR, and then land on the second terminal S2.
This ensures proper current measurement and device functionality.
