Where to find the MAC (Media Access Control) Address of the EM3570X Series meter?

User tried to assign an IP address on the EM3570X series meter but failed.

Cause

To change or assign the IP address on the EM3570X series meter; its MAC address and Web Interface/Web page access are required.

Resolution

To assign or change the IP address on an EM3570X, this can only be done through the web interface/Web page and requires knowing the meter’s MAC address. Refer to FAQ000273405 for details.

The MAC address is a strict requirement for configuring an IP address on a new EM3570X because the Ethernet parameters on the front panel display are either blank or view-only.

Therefore, you can find the MAC address on the meter label located behind the device, underneath the two Ethernet ports, as illustrated below:
