Could not connect to the Schneider Electric Update Server

Schneider Electric Update server error.

When you receive the error above please first be sure that your computer has proper internet connection. If that is not the case it usually means that your version of the software update tool might tool old and out dated. Please uninstall your current version and try to install the one below.


How to Fix the Connection Error

Step 1 — Download the Latest SESU Installer

Schneider Electric provides a direct download link for the newest SESU:

https://www.seupdate.schneider-electric.com/download/SystemConsistency/SoftwareUpdate/SESU_latest_version/SESU_latest_setup_sfx.exe

If your IT department blocks .exe downloads or the seupdate domain, they must unblock it.

Step 2 — Install the New SESU Version

  1. Close all Schneider Electric applications.
  2. Run the downloaded installer as Administrator.
  3. The outdated version will be upgraded automatically.



Step 3 — Retry “Check for Updates”

Once SESU is updated to a supported version, it will connect using the correct server and update normally.
