Resolution:

In this example, the M251 is setup a Modbus Slave and the M262 as Master. Ensure that both devices serial line settings are identical

Below is the logic where the blink function is used to execute the read every second.  The address table variable of the ADDM block must be used as the address(Addr pin) of the READ_VAR block. Attached is the sample project created in Ecostruxure Machine Expert V2.3
