What Is the Difference Between NACS and J1772 Connector Types?

NACS, also known as SAE J3400, and J1772 are two common Level 2 EV charging connector types in the U.S. and Canada. Many Tesla vehicles and a growing number of newer EVs use NACS/J3400, while many existing non-Tesla EVs use J1772. To choose the right Schneider Charge model, check your vehicle charging port in the owner's manual or confirm with your vehicle manufacturer.
