Is it possible to run LXM32-EtherCAT on a Laptop with TwinCAT
Causes and Fixes
LXM32-EtherCAT uses synchronized data transmission in EtherCAT. For this, a very good deterministic of the Data transfer is required.
Because of CPU- and power managment of a Laptop, most of them has a too big jitter and cannot be used as a EtherCAT-Master. TwinCAT (Master-settings) has a diagnostic function to check the quality of EtherCAT-data transmission (jitter is displayed)
