What causes an Invalid PLC Family / Model / Type Modbus error in a Harmony/Magelis HMI with Vijeo Designer?

Resolution
The most common cause of this message appearing in the System Log of the HMI is when the Modbus Unit ID of the server device is different than what is defined in the Modbus Driver Equipment in the Vijeo Designer project.
For example: When communication to a BMXNOC Modicon X80 Ethernet communication module, the Unit ID for that module is 1. Since the default in Vijeo Designer is 255, this mismatch will cause the error to appear.

- Unity Pro / EcoStruxure Control Expert (Modicon Momentum, Quantum, Premium, M340, M580, BMXNOE Ethernet Module), or
- SoMachine / EcoStruxure Machine Expert (M221, M258, LMC058, M241, M251, M262),
the Unit ID when the Ethernet port is connected directly to the CPU is 255.
