Claims Procedure – Home Electronics Protective Device (HEPD) Limited Warranty
To initiate a equipment protection plan (EPP) claim under this limited warranty, please follow the steps below:

Retain Proof of Purchase
Keep the original dated sales receipt for the Home Electronics Protective Device (HEPD). This will be required to validate the warranty. -
Obtain a Diagnostic Report
Engage a qualified and independent electronics repair technician or service provider (not affiliated with Schneider Electric or the original installer) to inspect the damaged equipment.- The technician must provide a written diagnostic report clearly identifying the root cause of the damage (e.g., electrical surge, lightning strike, equipment failure, etc.).
- Ensure that all repair invoices and supporting documentation are retained.

File a Homeowner’s Insurance Claim
Submit a claim through your homeowner’s insurance provider for the damaged equipment. Retain a copy of the insurance claim report or denial letter. -
Notify Schneider Electric
Within 30 days of the damage occurrence, and before any repairs are made to the HEPD or connected equipment, contact Schneider Electric Customer Support at the following and inform the customer service agent that you are needing to do a equipment protection plan (EPP) claim:

Submit Documentation and Device
Mail the following items to the address below:- Original purchase receipt for the HEPD
