Resolution:
"R" means right side and "L" means left side. The number means how many inches would be the extensions.

On the attachment, it shows a box for an HC4486DBL5. It shows the uncentered positions of the studs where the I-line interior would be mounted, thus, portraying the extension provided on the left side of the enclosure.
