Resolution
Browser pages do not work properly in Chrome and do not work with 64 Bit Java.
Use the link below to download the latest 32 bit Java for Windows. This will work with Internet Explorer and also Edge with the IE tab extension.
https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
You will need to go to the Java Console and Disable the other versions and enable only the latest 32 bit. The below screen is from the Java tab and view.
After you select the latest 32 bit, then deselect the enable and apply. After the deselect is applied, then select enable and apply again. This will engage the 32 bit latest version that was selected.
Set the Edge Explorer Configuration as follows:
First, Internet Explorer compatibility mode is setup in Parameter section (right corner)
- Click the Settings and More (ellipsis) button on the top-right corner.
- Select the Settings option. Click on Default browser.
Under the “Internet Explorer compatibility” section:
- turn on the “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode” toggle switch.
- Add IP@ of PLC ethernet address for Webserver
Restart Edge
- Open device web page and reload it in Internet Explorer mode
Access to all diagnostics pages should now be Ok with Edge in IE mode. It could be possible that at the first connection the time will be not the one expected, should be ok at the next connection.
If after the above you still get errors or incomplete webpages;
Add the CPU/NOE/NOC Ip address to trusted sites and set security to Low.
