Issue:
The Galaxy VX installation manual can be misinterpreted sometimes and has conflicting information when compared to the Li-Ion installation manual, leading to doubts on how to properly wire the power section of a Li-Ion battery cabinet to a Galaxy VX unit.

Li-Ion battery cabinets can only accept a maximum wiring size of 350 kcmil while GVX calls for 11 x 600kcmil cables

Cause:
Li-Ion battery cabinets can only accept a maximum wiring size of 350 kcmil while GVX calls for 11 x 600kcmil cables


Resolution:
It is important to remember that the battery cabinet instructions will need to be followed during installation; for this reason, each battery cabinet should be connected using 350 kcmil wiring. The minimum amount of battery cabinets to power a GVX unit is of 3 racks for up to 625 kVA. Only the 17 battery module rack can be used with the GVX UPS.

Per Li-Ion battery cabinet:
-1 x 350 kcmil for DC+
-1 x 350 kcmil for DC-
-1 x 350 kcmil for Neutral
