M251, Setting the Real Time Clock

Issue:

How do we set the real time clock (RTC) in a M251?

M251 controller, EcoStruxure Machine Expert

Resolution:

In the Machine Expert application, there is an example project that shows how to work with the M251 real time clock.

To access this example project, create a "New Project" and select "From Example".

Under the "General" tab, use the button with two arrows at the top right to switch from "Controllers" to "Examples" and select the "RTC Control / Timezone & Daylight Saving Time / SNTP Client - Example:"

Select the "TM251MESE" as the controller.

Give the project a name and Click the "OK" button.

See how the RTC is managed in the project.
