In EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert, why do my String Displays not show the text and symbols from String Variables from Modicon M241/M251/M262 PLCs?

For the HMI to read the STRING and WSTRING type variables via MachineExpertNetwork protocol,

1. In EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert software, open your HMI project
2. Navigate to theProject Explorer
3. ExpandTarget01 > Drivers
4. Select "Schneider Electric-MachineExpertNetwork*" node
5. In the System Architecture page, click on the row of the Equipment (default name "MachineExpertEquipment1")
6. On the far right side of the screen under the Properties box, find "String Encode" near the bottom of the list.
7. In theString Encode dropdown, select "CodePage1252"
8. Download the changes to your HMI (or Simulate)

ALSO NOTE:The best font to use for String Displays showing String Variables from M2xx PLCs is <LanguageName>_Gothic
