A standard Modbus Plus network can communicate over distances of up to 450m. If an application requires longer distances, a Modbus Plus repeater (NW-RR85-001) must be inserted between the network connections (possibility of reaching 900m). A maximum of three repeaters can be used, making it possible to reach distances of 1800 m.
