- Additional components, shutters for base, are available to ensure IP40 degree of protection. Exposure to energized components are avoided during racking In / Out. It doesn’t allow a probe of 1mm diameter to enter an energized zone.
- Even without use of shutters, we ensure IP2X – Finger proof – So the operator will not be exposed to energized components unless otherwise if they intentionally use a tool / screw driver to access the energized components.

The plug-in version, provided it is installed respecting the instructions with the required insulation accessories (eg: short terminal shields of the breaker terminals), ensures the following IP protection degree:
- Circuit breaker plugged in = IP4x
- Circuit breaker removed = IP2x
- Circuit breaker removed, base equipped with shutters LV432521 = IP4x.
