This document explains how to resolve an issue which is Crashing of IO Server when user writes values to Array registers from Plant Scada Runtime.
User might have Array registers to Read/Write from Supervision Runtime to Controller and in this case, IO Server might crash, when user attempts to write a value to Array's register from Plant Scada Runtime to Controller.
This is a known issue with OFSOPC Driver 4.00.02.000 which comes with Plant Scada 2020 R2 due to which IO Server is Crashing.
This issue was fixed in the OFSOPC Driver 4.00.05.000, therefore we recommend to install this version of OFSOPC driver in Plant Scada 2020R2 for resolving the issue.
OFSOPC Driver 4.00.05.000 can be downloaded from AVEVA Website or can request L3 Support team.
This Knowledge base article is applicable for Ecostruxure Process Expert 2021 in which Plant Scada 2020R2 with Update4 is used.
