Surge protection devices for enclosed drives.

Schneider Electric has 2 types of SPDs that we can provide with the drive- Type 1 (Part number: SDSA3650D) and Type 2 (Part number: TVS5HWA10X).

Type 1 SPD is usually smaller in size, and it goes next to the breaker for MCE drives, on the side of the backplate for the drive for wall mount drives. If we have floor-standing velocity- it does on the control plate.

Type 2 SPD usually increases the size of the cubicle and gets mounted on its own plate.
