Configuring x70 RTU Object in GeoSCADA For RTZ Import/Export

To configure the x70 RTU object in GeoSCADA, follow the steps outlined: *Note: This example will follow the setup using DNP3.

  • Set up the direct DNP3 outstation set, and channel as normal. The outstation will need to be a SCADAPack DNP3 direct outstation:

  • Create a new RTU object depending on the SCADAPack being used:

  • Within the properties of the outstation created, there will be a 'SCADAPack x70' tab; within it, input the newly created device into the 'SCADAPack x70 Device' field.

  • Ensure all created objects are in service, and you will now be able to import the RTZ file from RemoteConnect into GeoSCADA.
