How does the M262 FDR function work?
- FTP server needs to be enabled.
- The FDR enabled device (eg. VSD) first needs to upload the parameters via its FDR function to the M262 (FDR server). A FDR parameter file will then be present in the M262 in the Fdr folder.
- When a new FDR device of the exact same model is connected to the M262 (and replaces the old device), the PLC will automatically transfer the parameters using the FDR parameter file.
- Note, in the scenario where the FDR device is a SE device (eg. Altivar VSD), uploading the parameters using the DTM in M262 is not the method to allow the FDR function to operate.
