Machine Expert Basic v1.4 build 484 uploading project from M221 controller with remote TM3BCEIP I/Os loses the IO Symbols.
Issue:
In Machine Expert Basic, when upload a project from a M221 controller that has a remote TM3BCEIP with IOs configured will not bring the Symbols of these IOs. It will use the Network Objects Address instead of the address.
In the configuration, these remote IOs still hava their Symbols and Addresses defined but they are no longer marked as being used.
Note that the onboard IOs of the PLC and the extensions TM3 IOs modules do not show that behavior.
Product Line:
Machine Expert Basic (all versions)
Resolution:
This behavior has been reproduced. For now, this is considered the normal behavior of the software.
Since the removal of the Symbols and the use of the Network Object Addresses cause a lost documentation and clarity in understanding the logic of the program, an improvement request was opened with R&D. As of now, we do not have a confirmation that this improvement will be implemented and no release date has been provided. We need to wait and see in future releases if it has been implemented.
