What does the Ip tab represent in the Curves and Selectivity window in EcoSet Design?
The Ip tab displays the peak current values associated with fault conditions.
Peak current analysis helps evaluate:
- Electrodynamic stresses on equipment.
- Busbar withstand capability.
- Protection device performance during fault initiation.
- Mechanical stress imposed on the electrical installation.
This analysis is particularly important for high-fault-current installations.
