PME 8.x: How to use the Web Viewer Gadget to display Real Time Trends

Cause
The user requires the setup of real-time trends in dashboards.

Resolution
1. Log into PME Web Applications by navigating to (http://[SERVERNAME]/web) or using (http://localhost/web) directly from the server.
2. Click on the 'Trends' tab, and select one of the trends set within the Trends Library.
3. Right-click on the selected 'Trend' and select 'Open in New Window'.


4. Copy the unique URL generated for this trend from the browser's URL address bar.

5. Navigate to the 'Dashboards' tab and click on 'Edit Dashboards' within the Dashboard Controls section.
6. Click on 'Add Gadget' and select the 'Web Viewer' gadget.
7. Define a 'Title' within the 'Gadget Setup - General Settings' window and click Next.
8. Paste the unique trend URL from the clipboard to the 'Source' field, and select the 'Refresh Interval' and 'Display' preferences.
9. Click 'Finish' to save the Web Viewer gadget configuration.
